Avocado Egg Sandwich

Recently, I love to eat avocado.

If I look back at myself a year ago, I couldn’t imagine myself eating avocado. Because last year and the previous years I’m not very fond avocado. Honestly, I found the taste very very weird. But now, here I am, craving for avocados everyday. Thanks to one of the coffee shop that sells avocado egg sandwich. I mean they make a very very delicious avocados sandwich, and that single sandwich changes my perspective of avocados.

So here I am, making my own avocado egg sandwich! 🙂

Here’s the recipe!

Ingredients :

  • 2 slices wheat bread
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp butter
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning

How :

  1. In a saucepan, cook eggs and butter and make scrambled egg. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
  2. Slice avocado thinly and put on top of the bread. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Put the scrambled egg on top of the avocado and top it with another slice of bread.
  4. Serve and Enjoy!

Banana Bread

One of the fruits that I always try to eat every morning is Banana! And actually, it’s also one of my favourite fruits.

At home, every thursday, my mom always bring home some bananas and most of the time they will be finished within 2-3 days. However, last week until today, there is still left 3 bananas.

And that’s how the idea of making banana bread pop up in my head!

So here’s the recipe! 🙂

Ingredients :

  • 55 gr softened unsalted butter
  • 70 gr sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 120 gr all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 ripe bananas

How :

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degree celcius. Grease a small loaf tin.
  2. In a bowl, cream both butter and sugar until they are well combined.
  3. Mix in egg.
  4. Sift in all purpose flour and baking powder.
  5. Peel bananas and mash them with fork and then mix them with the flour butter sugar mixture.
  6. Pour the batter into the loaf tin and bake for about 45-50 minutes.
  7. Let it cool for about 10 minutes before taking the bread out from the loaf tin.
  8. Serve and Enjoy!

 

Aglio-Olio

Ever since I started to learn on how to cook at home, there is one particular dish that I’ve been wanting to make but never have a chance to make it.

Yes, italian food, not pizza but pasta dish. and one of my favorite pasta dish is aglio-olio.

And that’s what I am going to share with you today? 🙂

Ingredients :

  • 85 gr spaghetti
  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 tsp crushed garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning

How To :

  1. Pour 4 cups in a pot and add 1 tbsp of salt and boil water on a medium heat.
  2. Once the water boils, add the spaghetti and cook it for about 5-6 minutes.
  3. Once the noodle is cooked, pour the noodle in a bowl and coat it with olive oil. Set aside the spaghetti broth.
  4. In a pan, pour olive oil and crushed garlic and cook it until the garlic shows golden brown color.
  5. Add in the cooked spaghetti and salt and pepper.
  6. Add in the spaghetti broth and cook for about 2-3 minutes. After that, sprinkle a little bit of olive oil over the pasta.
  7. Serve and Enjoy.

Nut-Free Granola

With a new mindset and a new attitude, I thought I should renew my blog, so here we are.

So today, Friday and the first week of January 2019, to start my new blog, I’m sharing with you a simple recipe that you can enjoy as your breakfast, desserts and perhaps late night snack. And yes its Nut-Free Granola Recipe!

Ingredients :

  • 100 gr rolled oats
  • 100 gr corn flakes
  • 100 gr dark raisin
  • 90 gr honey
  • 25 ml oil

How :

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degree celcius.
  2. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except honey and oil. Once all the ingredients are mixed, add oil and honey and continue mixing.
  3. Line a baking sheet with a baking mat and then spread the mixture evenly and bake for about 22-25 minutes. Every 10 minutes, flip through the mixture so that they would not get burnt.
  4. Let them cool before storing them in a jar.
  5. Serve and enjoy with fruits and yogurt.
